Just getting home after 30+ hours of marathon cleaning of our short term rental homes cos of the hurricane headed to Florida. Didn’t even sleep at home and haven’t had a shower or eaten.We are so booked out and have been receiving non stop calls from people looking for accommodations. We made our homes super affordable so people from Florida could afford it this period with their unexpected evacuation.Go away Hurricane Milton. This is so sad watching them all arrive so exhausted. We were able to check in people at an earlier time since we spent all night and day cleaning for their arrival.I pray for Florida. May the Lord protect them and their city.Thanks Mr Jonathan Quilote for showing up for unexpected repairs in speed time. You are the best maintenance manager anyone can dream of. Wow! Today I’m overjoyed. This exact day 5 years ago, I took a leap of faith, purchased a home 🏡 and started Sweet Home Georgia. My Short term rental business. I remember someone asking me one day “so you have just one listing?”, and not in a nice manner so I told myself I would grow. Within 5 years, I have multiple listings.The business expanded to include our dedicated Maintenance Manager, Mr Jonathan Quilote, our loyal gardener, Jose and my amazing sisters, Ivy and Faithful who help with the cleaning despite working as Data Engineer/Analyst and going to College.5 years!Statistically, 45% of businesses are projected to fail in America within the first 5 years but we made it.Sweet Home Georgia didn’t only thrive since October 1st, 2019, it won 🏅so many awards. I didn't think it was any way for a quick trip to Atl/Duluth to top the list for BEST AIR BNB! Where do I start, the home was amazing! There was so much attention to detail, from the beautifully decorated bedrooms, fully stocked bathrooms, smart capabilities on all tvs, activities in the game room and gym and Blessing even left a few snacks for us. If we did plan on cooking, the kitchen was fully equipped for that, as well.We brought our kiddos to celebrate them having a great school year, and Blessing even helped us celebrate that by allowing us to stay an extra night. She was a joy to communicate with. When we return to Atlanta for any occasion, I will be going directly to Blessing's profile, to check for the listings she has available. The doors were tricky to lock but overall it was a SWEET BLESSING, thank you for opening your home at such last minute. She is so nice and very very responsive to any needs or concerns.
